Was Rahab the Harlot an Ancestor of Jesus Christ?

 Many say that Rahab [Raab] the Harlot, who was a Canaanite, was ancestor of our Savior Jesus Christ; however, if that is true that means that Jesus Christ is not our Savior and he did not fulfill the law.  It makes a huge difference whether Jesus Christ is a pure blood descendant of Judah or part Canaanite.  We will explore this issue in this document further.

Rachab, Wife of Salmon & Ancestors of Jesus Christ

 

The only time our bible mentions Salmon wife’s name Rachab is in the Gospel of Matthew, where the ancestry of our Savior Jesus Christ is stated. Notice the King James Version, the Greek transliteration and the Latin Vulgate all three agree that Salmon’s wife name is spelt as ‘Rachab’.

 

“And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon; And Salmon begat Boaz of Rachab [G4470 Rachab]; and Boaz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse” KJV Mat 1:4-5

 

“Aram autem genuit Aminadab Aminadab autem genuit Naasson Naasson autem genuit Salmon Salmon autem genuit Booz de Rachab Booz autem genuit Obed ex Ruth Obed autem genuit Iesse Iesse autem genuit David regem” LV Mat 1:4-5

 

 

As you will see below, Salmon’s wife name is spelt different than that of the Harlot of Jericho.

 

Raab the Harlot of Jericho

 

Raab was living in Jericho and she is typically referred to as Raab the Harlot. We will look at the spelling of her name in three different versions in the Old Testament. While reading these verses notice that only two men of Israel were sent to spy on the land and these two men were the only ones mentioned in scripture that met Raab of Jericho.  No where does scripture state that Salmon was one of the men that went to Jericho and met Raab. 

 

The Greek Septuagint spells her name Raab and theblueletterbible.org site reflects the same Greek transliteration.

 

“And Joshua the son of Naue sent out of Sattin two young men to spy the land, saying, Go up and view the land and Jericho: and the two young men went and entered into Jericho; and they entered into the house of a harlot, whose name was Raab [G4460 Ῥαάβ], and lodged there.” LXX Jos 2:1 

 

“And Joshua saved alive Raab [G4460 Ῥαάβ] the harlot, and all the house of her father, and caused her to dwell in Israel until this day, because she hid the spies which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.” LXX Jos 6:25 

 

The Latin Vulgate agrees with the Greek Septuagint that her name is spelt Raab.

 

“misit ergo Iosue filius Nun de Setthim duos viros exploratores abscondito et dixit eis ite et considerate terram urbemque Hiericho qui pergentes ingressi sunt domum mulieris meretricis nomine Raab et quieverunt apud eam” LV Jos 2:1

 

“Raab vero meretricem et domum patris eius atque omnia quae habebat fecit Iosue vivere et habitaverunt in medio Israhel usque in praesentem diem eo quod absconderit nuntios quos miserat ut explorarent Hiericho in tempore illo inprecatus est Iosue dicens“ LV Jos 6:25

 

The King James Version uses the modern Hebrew transliteration of Rahab:

 

“And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab[H7343 rāḥāḇ], and lodged there.” KJV Jos 2:1 

 

“And Joshua saved Rahab [H7343 rāḥāḇ] the harlot alive, and her father's household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.” KJV Jos 6:25

 

The Letter to the Hebrews mentions Raab the Harlot of Jericho.  Notice how the Latin and Greek transliteration both use the spelling of Raab and the King James Version uses the modern Hebrew transliteration of Rahab even though there is no modern Hebrew version of the New Testament.

 

“fide Raab meretrix non periit cum incredulis excipiens exploratores cum pace” LV Heb 11:31

 

“By faith the harlot Rahab [G4460 Raab] perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.” KJV Heb 11:31 

 

The English Hexapla of 1841

 

According to an English Hexapla of 1841, it shows that the Greek text did reflect Boaz’s mother’s name in Matthew 1:5 as Rachab.  This Hexapla reflects the name of the Harlot was Raab.

This Hexapla reflects the first six New Testament translations into English with the different names spelling in each version for Salmon’s wife verses the Harlot, except the Wiclif version.

So, it would appear to me, based on the spelling alone, that they did not think that Salmon’s wife and the Harlot of Jericho were the same person.

 

Genealogy & Timing

 

Reflected below is a genealogy diagram for the tribe of Judah and Levi that shows the generations before Boaz. The generations and timing show that Boaz most likely was born before the time of the Book of Joshua when two Israelite men met Raab.

During the Israelites second year in the wilderness, Salmon's father, Nahshon was appointed chief or prince of the tribe of Judah.

 

“The Lord spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tent of meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying, “Take a census of all the congregation of the people of Israel, by clans, by fathers' houses, according to the number of names, every male, head by head. From twenty years old and upward, all in Israel who are able to go to war, you and Aaron shall list them, company by company. And there shall be with you a man from each tribe, each man being the head of the house of his fathers. And these are the names of the men who shall assist you. From Reuben, Elizur the son of Shedeur; from Simeon, Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai; from Judah, Nahshon the son of Amminadab.” ESV Num 1:1-7

 

“And they that encamp first toward the east shall be the order of the camp of Juda with their host, and the prince [G758 archōn; a ruler, commander, chief, captain]  of the sons of Juda, Naasson [Nahshon] the son of Aminadab.” LXX Num 2:3

 

“And he that offered his gift on the first day, was Naasson [Nahshon] the son of Aminadab, prince [G758 archōn; a ruler, commander, chief, captain] of the tribe of Juda.” LXX Num 7:12

 

Therefore, we know that Nahshon was old enough to be the leader of a very large group of people from the tribe Judah. Nahshon was probably already married and his son Salmon was more than likely born in Egypt. Just as Nahshon’s sister was already married to Aaron while they were still living in Egypt where they had four sons shown below.  Scripture names Aaron and Elisabeth’s sons prior to leaving Egypt.

 

“Aaron took as his wife Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab and the sister of Nahshon, and she bore him Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.” ESV Exo 6:23

 

“And Aaron took to himself to wife Elisabeth daughter of Aminadab sister of Naasson, and she bore to him both Nadab and Abiud, and Eleazar and Ithamar.” LXX Exo 6:23

 

Aaron and Elisheba married before the law was given that they must marry within their own tribe and they were all considered the tribe of Israel.  It was when the land division was going to take place that they were told to marry within their own tribes only. More on this latter.

 

According to Exodus, Phinehas was already born prior to the Israelites leaving Egypt and by the time the book of Numbers was written he was old enough to know the law and kill someone with a javelin (spear). Phinehas was the same generation as Salmon’s father Nahshon (Naasson) who was Chief of the tribe of Judah.

 

“And Eleazar the son of Aaron took to himself for a wife one of the daughters of Phutiel, and she bore to him Phinees. These are the heads of the family of the Levites, according to their generations.” ESV Exo 6:25 

 

“Eleazar, Aaron's son, took as his wife one of the daughters of Putiel, and she bore him Phinehas.” LXX Exo 6:25

 

“And Phinees the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, and rose out of the midst of the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand, and went in after the Israelitish man into the chamber, and pierced them both through, both the Israelitish man, and the woman through her womb; and the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.” LXX Num 25:7-8

 

So, Salmon and Rachab probably bore Boaz during the time of the 40 years in the wilderness before those two Israelite men met Raab the Harlot in the book of Joshua (Jos 2:1). Salmon and Rachab raised Boaz’s generation while our Father in Heaven was teaching the Israelites the laws and ensuring they followed them.

 

“And the Lord's anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation that had done evil in the sight of the Lord was gone. And behold, you have risen in your fathers' place, a brood of sinful men, to increase still more the fierce anger of the Lord against Israel!” ESV Num 32:13

 

Raab the Harlot was a Canaanite

 

Raab [Rahab] the harlot was said to be a Canaanite and the law states not to marry a Canaanite.  Canaan’s line was cursed in Genesis chapter 9. The verse below states that the Canaanites live by the Jordan and Raab was living near the Jordan in Jericho.

 

“The Amalekites dwell in the land of the Negeb. The Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the hill country. And the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and along the Jordan.” ESV Num 13:29

 

“And the children of Israel wept for Moses in Araboth of Moab at Jordan near Jericho thirty days; and the days of the sad mourning for Moses were completed.” LXX Deu_34:8 

 

“And Joshua the son of Naue sent out of Sattin two young men to spy the land, saying, Go up and view the land and Jericho: and the two young men went and entered into Jericho; and they entered into the house of a harlot, whose name was Raab and lodged there.” LXX Jos 2:1 

 

 

Josephus, the 1^st century historian, reflects history of what happened in his fifth book and does mention the Canaanites in relation to Raab [Rahab] the Harlot who he refers to as an Inn Keeper.

 

“Now when he had pitched his camp, the spies came to him immediately, well acquainted with the whole state of the Canaanites; for at first, before they were at all discovered, they took a full view of the city of Jericho without disturbance, and saw which parts of the walls were strong, and which parts were otherwise, and indeed insecure, and which of the gates were so weak as might afford an entrance to their army. Now those that met them took no notice of them when they saw them, and supposed they were only strangers, who used to be very curious in observing everything in the city, and did not take them for enemies; but at even they retired to a certain inn that was near to the wall, whither they went to eat their supper; which supper when they had done, and were considering how to get away, information was given to the king as he was at supper, that there were some persons come from the Hebrews' camp to view the city as spies, and that they were in the inn kept by Rahab, and were very solicitous that they might not be discovered.” Josephus Antiquities, Book 5, Chapter 2.

 

Some people like to claim that Raab the Harlot or Inn Keeper was an Israelite; however, if she was an Israelite why did spies need to be sent there?  The Israelites at Jericho could have reported back to the Israelites at the Wilderness Camp.  The bible records nothing about any Israelites living in Jericho until after the Fall of Jericho.

 

The Israelites had been in bondage in Egypt for many years and during the book of Exodus, our Father in Heaven took them from Egypt and had them in the Wilderness for 40 years.  During these 40 years they never crossed the Jordon, into the Promised Land.  All the of the Israelite tribes remained in camp, wondering the east side of the Jordan, until the two spies were sent across the Jordon to Jericho to spy on the people there (Joshua chapter 2).  Then in Joshua chapter 3, the tribes of Israel crossed the Jordan for the first time with the Ark of the Covenant.    Then in Joshua chapter 6, is when the fall of Jericho occurred and the city officially became part of Israel’s Promised Land.  Therefore, it is not possible that any Israelite could have set up an Inn in Jericho where Raab working before the Fall of Jericho.  Salmon and Rachab were married long before this time, just as it is documented that Salmon’s sister Elisabeth was married to Aaron (see above) back in Egypt.

 

Laws of Moses Marriage Laws

 

The law states that the Israelites were not to marry a Canaanite before the time Jacob Israel married and it was restated when the Israelites spent the 40 years in the wilderness. Raab the Harlot/Inn Keeper was living amongst the Canaanites, according to scripture and so she was a Canaanite.   

 

“that I may make you swear by the LORD, the God of heaven and God of the earth, that you will not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell,” Gen_24:3 

 

“Then Isaac called Jacob and blessed him and directed him, “You must not take a wife from the Canaanite women.” Gen_28:1 

 

“And when the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land, into which thou goest to possess it, and shall remove great nations from before thee, the Chettite, and Gergesite, and Amorite, and Chananite, and Pherezite, and Evite, and Jebusite, seven nations more numerous and stronger than you, and the Lord thy God shall deliver them into thy hands, then thou shalt smite them: thou shalt utterly destroy them: thou shalt not make a covenant with them, neither shall ye pity them: neither shall ye contract marriages with them: thou shalt not give thy daughter to his son, and thou shalt not take his daughter to thy son.” Deu 7:1-3

 

 

God wanted the Canaanites and their descendants destroyed.  Here is verse stating that fact.  Below are two different bible versions, showing the different spellings and the ones in bold are all Canaanites since they are descendants of Canaan.  The Pherezites [Perizzites] are unknown people since they are not shown as descendants of Noah in Genesis chapter 10 (see this chart)  The Fall of Jericho happened in order to destroy the Canaanites living there.  

 

“Hereby ye shall know that the living God is among you, and will utterly destroy from before our face the Chananite, and the Chettite and Pherezite, and the Evite, and the Amorite, and the Gergesite, and the Jebusite.”  LXX Jos 3:10 

 

“And Joshua said, “Here is how you shall know that the living God is among you and that he will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Hivites, the Perizzites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, and the Jebusites.” ESV Jos 3:10 

 

Jesus had to Fulfill the Laws of Moses

 

Rachab the wife of Salmon, is an ancestor of Jesus Christ; therefore, it is very important to understand that Rachab had to be of the tribe of Judah for Jesus to be who the Gospels says he is. First though we must understand that Jesus said he came to satisfy the Law; therefore, in order to be our legitimate anointed High Priest and King everything about Jesus had to be done according to the laws of Moses.  The children of Jacob Israel would only recognize Jesus Christ as their King and Savior if everything about him was done according to the laws of Moses to fulfill prophecy.  Jesus does state that he came to fulfill or satisfy the law.

 

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill [G4137 plēroō; satisfy, execute] them” ESV Mat 5:17

 

Jesus also said that everything written about him in the Laws of Moses will be fulfilled or executed:

 

“Then he said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled [G4137 plēroō; satisfy, execute].” ESV Luke 24:44

 

In order for Jesus to be our Passover Lamb, he was to be without blemish:

 

“It shall be to you a lamb unblemished, a male of a year old: ye shall take it of the lambs and the kids.” LXX Exo 12:5 

 

The laws for sacrifice state that all sacrifices to the Lord must be without blemish or anything evil. Therefore, Jesus had to be without blemish or any thing evil to be the Passover sacrifice.

 

“Thou shalt not sacrifice to the Lord thy God a calf or a sheep, in which there is a blemish, or any evil thing; for it is an abomination to the Lord thy God.” LXX Deu 17:1 

 

The tribes of Israel were to be keep separate from other tribes and nations.

 

“Speak to the congregation of the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Ye shall be holy [G39 hagion; set apart for God, sacred]; for I the Lord your God am holy.” Sep Lev 19:2

 

“And ye shall be holy to me; because I the Lord your God am holy, who separated [G873 aphorizō; I rail off, separate, place apart, to set off by boundary] you from all nations, to be mine.” Sep Lev 20:26

 

If Jesus was born of a forbidden union, he was not be qualified to enter the assembly of the Lord.

 

“No one born of a forbidden union may enter the assembly of the LORD. Even to the tenth generation, none of his descendants may enter the assembly of the LORD.” ESV Deu 23:2 

 

In order for Jesus Christ to fulfill the laws of Moses, he must be a pure blood from the tribe of Judah. 

 

“And whatever daughter is heiress to a property of the tribes of the children Israel, such women shall be married each to one of her father's tribe, that the sons of Israel may each inherit the property of his father's tribe. And the inheritance shall not go about from one tribe to another, but the children of Israel shall steadfastly continue each in his own inheritance.”  Sep Num 36:8-9

 

When Jacob Israel blessed his sons, he gave each of them unique blessings.  Judah received the blessing of being the ruling tribe.  Jesus our King and High Priest will be the fulfillment of Judah’s blessing. 

 

“A ruler shall not fail from Juda, nor a prince from his loins, until there come the things stored up for him; and he is the expectation of nations.” LXX Gen 49:10 

 

When Jesus returns, Revelation shows that Jesus will fulfill the law and Judah’s blessing.  Jesus will be the ruler and King of Kings.

 

“They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.” ESV Rev 17:14 

 

“From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.” Rev 19:15-16

 

Jesus Christ did fulfill the laws of Moses and is a pure blood from the tribe of Judah.  Salmon and Rachab are from the tribe of Judah, we know this if we believe every word our bible tells us. Salmon and Rachab were present when the laws of Moses were read to the Israelites and were there when the Israelites agreed to follow the laws by saying “Amen”. 

 

“‘Cursed be anyone who does not confirm the words of this law by doing them.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.”’ LXX Deu 27:26

 

Many from the tribes of Israel were killed for not remaining separate from the other nations while they were in the wilderness for 40 years. Ruth was an Israelite from the Tribe of Judah

 Many churches today are teaching that Ruth was a Moabite and the bible does state that she was a Moabitess several times.  However if you read carefully chapters 3 and 4 of the book of Ruth you will find that Ruth was near kin to Naomi and Boaz from the tribe of Judah.  The Moabites were not near kin to the tribe of Judah.

 

The verses stating Ruth was a Moabitess are only a geographical term.  It is like stating that someone is a Virginian, Californian or an Arizonian today which just implies the place of their residence and does not imply their race or tribal affiliation. Ruth had been living in the land of Moab that had been taken away from the Moabites many years prior.

Jesus Christ came to Fulfill the Laws of Moses

 

Ruth is an ancestor of Jesus Christ; therefore it is very important to understand Ruth’s genealogy which will be reviewed below.  First though we must understand that Jesus said he came to satisfy the Law; therefore in order to be our legitimate anointed High Priest and King everything about Jesus had to be done according to the laws of Moses.  The children of Jacob Israel would only recognize Jesus Christ as their King and savior if everything about him was done according to the laws of Moses.  Jesus does state that he came to fulfill or satisfy the law.

 

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill [G4137 plēroō; satisfy, execute] them” ESV Mat 5:17

 

Jesus also said that everything written about him in the Laws of Moses will be fulfilled or executed:

With this in mind, I will state the laws below showing that he had to be a pure blood of the tribe of Judah in order to be our anointed King and High Priest.

 

No Moabite may enter the Assembly of the Lord

 

The Laws of Moses says that no Moabite may enter the assembly of the Lord; therefore if Ruth was a Moabite she would not be qualified to be part of the assembly of Jacob Israel.  Since Jesus is a descent of Ruth he would not be qualified to be our anointed King and High Priest if Ruth was a Moabitess by race.  In other words if Ruth was a Moabite, Jesus did not fulfill the Law below since he would have been a descendant of a Moabite. Naomi’s sons and Boaz’s marriage to Ruth would not be legal either according to the laws of Moses.

 

“The Ammanite and Moabite shall not enter into the assembly [G1577 ekklēsia; a calling out, community of Israel, congregation, church] of the Lord, even until the tenth generation he shall not enter into the assembly of the Lord, even for ever: because they met you not with bread and water by the way, when ye went out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Mesopotamia to curse thee. But the Lord thy God would not hearken to Balaam; and the Lord thy God changed the curses into blessings, because the Lord thy God loved thee.  Thou shalt not speak peaceably or profitably to them all thy days for ever.” Sep Deu 23:3-5

 

So the verses above are telling us that a person who genetically has even a small amount of Moabite genes in them cannot be part of the assembly of Israel.  We are not to seek peace with them forever.

 

Ruth was a Close Relative of Naomi and Boaz

 

According to chapter 3 and 4 of the book of Ruth, Ruth was a close relative of Naomi and Boaz.  Naomi informed Ruth that both of them were related to Boaz:

 

“And her mother-in-law said to her, Where hast thou gleaned to-day, and where hast thou wrought? blessed be he that took notice of thee. And Ruth told her mother-in-law where she had wrought, and said, The name of the man with whom I wrought to-day is Booz.  And Noemin said to her daughter-in-law, Blessed is he of the Lord, because he has not failed in his mercy with the living and with the dead: and Noemin said to her, The man is near akin to us, he is one of our relations.” Sep Rth 2:19-20

 

“And she lodged with her mother-in-law: and Noemin her mother-in-law said to her, My daughter, shall I not seek rest for thee, that it may be well with thee? And now is not Booz our kinsman, with whose damsels thou wast? behold, he winnows barley this night in the floor.” Sep Rth 3:1-2

 

When Ruth and Boaz (Booz) meet later that night Ruth then informs him that she is a near relative to him:

 

“And he said, Who art thou? and she said, I am thine handmaid Ruth; spread therefore thy skirt over thine handmaid, for thou art a near relation.” Sep Ruth 3:9

 

Boaz agrees that it is true that he is a near kinsman to Ruth

 

“And now I am truly akin to thee; nevertheless there is a kinsman nearer than I.” Sep Rth 3:12 

 

Boaz is from the tribe of Judah

 

Boaz (Booz) is a descendant of Jacob Israel from the tribe of Judah and he is great grandfather of King David.  Both the gospels of Matthew and Luke show that Jesus Christ is a descendant of Boaz and King David.

 

“And Naasson begot Salmon, and Salmon begot Booz, and Booz begot Obed, and Obed begot Jessae. And Jessae begot his first-born Eliab, Aminadab was the second, Samaa the third, Nathanael the fourth, Zabdai the fifth,  Asam the sixth, David the seventh.” Sep 1Ch 2:11-15

 

“And Salmon begat Boaz of Rachab; and Boaz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse; And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias.”  KJV Mat 1:5-6

 

“Which was the son of Melea, which was the son of Menan, which was the son of Mattatha, which was the son of Nathan, which was the son of David, Which was the son of Jesse, which was the son of Obed, which was the son of Booz, which was the son of Salmon, which was the son of Naasson,” KJV Luke 3:31-32

If Ruth was a Moabite by race that means that King David was one eighth Moabite; therefore he did not qualified to be King of the assembly of Israel (Deu 23:3-6 above & Deu 17:15).  David was three generations away from Ruth.  Malachi 3:6, Isaiah 31:2, and Hebrews 13:8 tell us that our Father in Heaven never changes his mind; therefore if God says the Moabites cannot be part of the assembly, it means that King David was not part Moabite since our Father in Heaven did pick David to be king of Israel.  Our Father in Heaven made a covenant (promise) with King David that his throne would last forever and our God does not break his promises.  Our Father in Heaven does not break his own laws either.

 

“And he sent and fetched him: and he was ruddy, with beauty of eyes, and very goodly to behold. And the Lord said to Samuel, Arise, and anoint David, for he is good. And Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward: and Samuel arose, and departed to Armathaim.” Sep 1Sa 16:12-13

 

“And his house shall be made sure, and his kingdom for ever before me, and his throne shall be set up for ever.  According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so Nathan spoke to David.” Sep 2Sa 7:16-17

 

“And the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah, saying, Thus saith the Lord; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season; Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers. As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.” KJV Jer 33:19-22

 

Ruth and Naomi had to have been from the tribe of Judah since they were near kinsman to Boaz.  Plus Naomi returned Judah where she had land to sale.  Only the tribe of Judah was to own land in the territory of Judah (Num 36:2-3 below).  Naomi brought Ruth to Bethlehem Judah and it would be hard to believe she would bring a Moabite by race there since it was forbidden.

 

 “And she went forth out of the place where she was, and her two daughters-in-law with her: and they went by the way to return to the land of Juda.” Sep Rth 1:7 

 

Naomi wanted to sell her husband and son’s land (Ruth 4:9) and had stated she was too old to remarry (Ruth 1:12).  Boaz wanted to purchase this land in Judah from Naomi and take Ruth as is wife; however there was another relative that was more closely related to Ruth’s husband who had died so the issue was settled before 10 elders. 

 

“And Booz went up to the gate, and sat there; and behold, the relative passed by, of whom Booz spoke: and Booz said to him, Turn aside, sit down here, such a one: and he turned aside and sat down.  And Booz took ten men of the elders of the city, and said, Sit ye here; and they sat down.  And Booz said to the relative, The matter regards the portion of the field which was our brother Elimelech's which was given to Noemin, now returning out of the land of Moab; and I said, I will inform thee, saying, Buy it before those that sit, and before the elders of my people: if thou wilt redeem it, redeem it, but if thou wilt not redeem it, tell me, and I shall know; for there is no one beside thee to do the office of a kinsman, and I am after thee: and he said, I am here, I will redeem it. And Booz said, In the day of thy buying the field of the hand of Noemin and of Ruth the Moabitess the wife of the deceased, thou must also buy her, so as to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.  And the kinsman said, I shall not be able to redeem it for myself, lest I mar my own inheritance; do thou redeem my right for thyself, for I shall not be able to redeem it.” Sep Rth 4:1-6

 

If Ruth was really a Moabite by race, the elders would have stated that the marriage was not allowed due to the law stated in Deuteronomy 23:3-6 (above) that the Moabites were not to be part of the assembly of Israel.  Instead the 10 elders treated Ruth as an Israelite and allowed her to be redeemed with the land, as shown below according to the law:

 

“And if brethren should live together, and one of them should die, and should not have seed, the wife of the deceased shall not marry out of the family to a man not related: her husband's brother shall go in to her, and shall take her to himself for a wife, and shall dwell with her.  And it shall come to pass that the child which she shall bear, shall be named by the name of the deceased, and his name shall not be blotted out of Israel.” Sep Deu 25:5-6

 

The 10 elders also knew that the children of Jacob Israel were to keep separate from the other nations.  The word holy means ‘dedicated and set apart for God’s purposes’:

 

“Speak to the congregation of the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Ye shall be holy; for I the Lord your God am holy.” Sep Lev 19:2

 

“And ye shall be holy to me; because I the Lord your God am holy, who separated you from all nations, to be mine.” Sep Lev 20:26

 

So it is a fact that Boaz was very concerned about following the marriage laws of Moses.  In order to ensure he was following the law he got 10 elders involved; therefore it is just not possible that Ruth was a Moabite by race.

 

Towards the end of the Israelite’s 40 years in the wilderness with Moses some of the children of Jacob Israel started worshiping with Moab and Moses said to kill all of them that did this.  24,000 Israelites were killed because of their participation of this sin. This event happened about 1244 BC and the 10 elders of Israel during Ruth’s time probably knew about this event because Boaz and Ruth married about 20 years later.

 

“And Israel sojourned in Sattin, and the people profaned [G953 bebēloō; I profane, pollute, violate, to desecrate] itself by going a-whoring after the daughters of Moab. And they called them to the sacrifices of their idols; and the people ate of their sacrifices, and worshipped their idols.  And Israel consecrated themselves to Beel-phegor; and the Lord was very angry with Israel. And the Lord said to Moses, Take all the princes of the people, and make them examples of judgment for the Lord in the face of the sun, and the anger of the Lord shall be turned away from Israel.  And Moses said to the tribes of Israel, Slay ye every one his friend that is consecrated to Beel-phegor. And, behold, a man of the children of Israel came and brought his brother to a Madianitish woman before Moses, and before all the congregation of the children of Israel; and they were weeping at the door of the tabernacle of witness. And Phinees the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, and rose out of the midst of the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand, and went in after the Israelitish man into the chamber, and pierced them both through, both the Israelitish man, and the woman through her womb; and the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.  And those that died in the plague were four and twenty thousand.” Sep Num 25:1-9

 

In about 304BC, the Israelite remnant returned from Babylon captivity and they read the laws of Moses.  Then they removed all the mixed people from their land. Ruth’s descendants would have been removed at this time if she was a Moabite by race.

 

“In that day they read in the book of Moses in the ears of the people; and it was found written in it, that the Ammonites and Moabites should not enter into the congregation of God for ever; because they met not the children of Israel with bread and water, but hired Balaam against them to curse them: but our God turned the curse into a blessing. And it came to pass, when they heard the law, that they were separated, even every alien in Israel.” Sep Neh 13:1-3

 

Now once Boaz and Ruth were married, Ruth would become an heir to the land if Boaz would have died.  So if Boaz died, Ruth may have decided to remarry a Moabite, if she was really Moabite by race.  This could cause the land to be transferred from the tribe of Judah to the Moabites.  The elders knew better and would not have allowed a marriage to a Moabite.  According to the laws of Moses, the tribes were only allowed to marry within their own tribe in order to keep the inheritance correct.  This is another reason I think that Ruth must have been from thee tribe of Judah.

 

And whatever daughter is heiress to a property of the tribes of the children Israel, such women shall be married each to one of her father's tribe, that the sons of Israel may each inherit the property of his father's tribe. And the inheritance shall not go about from one tribe to another, but the children of Israel shall steadfastly continue each in his own inheritance.  Sep Num 36:8-9

Gods & Thy People Shall Be My People

 

Many churches teach that Ruth and her sister-in-law were worshipping other gods; therefore they were not Israelites (see the verses below). First off the words ‘shall be’ are in italics in many bibles because those words were inserted by the translators and should not really be part of the sentence.  The interlinear for both the Greek and Modern Hebrew shows the words ‘shall be’ are not included in the original text (see Hebrew here, see Greek here).  When you read the sentence without the words ‘shall be’, it becomes clear that Ruth stating that her people and Naomi’s people are the same people.  Ruth is also saying that her God is the same as Naomi’s God. Ruth is just merely expressing her commitment to Naomi.

 

“And Noemin said to Ruth, Behold, thy sister-in-law has returned to her people and to her gods [G2316 theos; a deity, especially the supreme Divinity; figuratively a magistrate (judge)]; turn now thou also after thy sister-in-law. And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following thee; for whithersoever thou goest, I will go, and wheresoever thou lodgest, I will lodge; thy people shall be my people, and thy God [G2316 theos] my God [G2316 theos].” Sep Rth 1:15-16

 

“And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods [H430 elohim; gods in the ordinary sense, with the article the supreme God, ruler, judge]: return thou after thy sister in law. And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God [H430 elohim] my God [H430 elohim].” KJV Rth 1:15-16

 

Secondly the statement about Ruth’s sister-in-law has returned to her gods must be understood that the word ‘god’ can mean magistrate, judge, or ruler.  Therefore, Ruth’s sister-in-law returned to the locality where she was from and the local people there used their own magistrates, judges, and rulers. Below are verses showing that the Greek word 'theos' and the modern Hebrew word 'elohim' are referring to people as gods or judges.  Genesis chapter 3 makes it clear that a 'theos' or 'elohim' is a person that has the abilty to judge the difference between good and evil.

 

[The serpent said]“For God [G2316 theos; a deity, especially the supreme Divinity; figuratively a magistrate (judge)] knew that in whatever day ye should eat of it your eyes would be opened, and ye would be as gods [G2316 theos; a deity, especially the supreme Divinity; figuratively a magistrate (judge)];, knowing good and evil.” Sep Gen 3:6

 

“And God [G2316 theos; a deity, especially the supreme Divinity; figuratively a magistrate (judge)] said, Behold, Adam is become as one of us [a god], to know good and evil, and now lest at any time he stretch forth his hand, and take of the tree of life and eat, and so he shall live forever—“ Sep Gen 3:23

 

“And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Behold, I have made thee a god [G2316 theos; a deity, especially the supreme Divinity; figuratively a magistrate (judge)] to Pharao, and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.” Sep Exo 7:1

 

“Thou shalt not revile [G2551 kakologeō; speak evil of, curse] the gods [G2316 theos; a deity, especially the supreme Divinity; figuratively a magistrate (judge)], nor speak ill of the ruler of thy people.” Sep Exo 22:28

 

“Thou shalt not revile the gods [H430 elohim; gods in the ordinary sense, with the article the supreme God, ruler, judge], nor curse the ruler of thy people.” KJV Exo 22:28

 

“They chose new gods [G2316 theos; a deity, especially the supreme Divinity; figuratively a magistrate (judge)]; then the cities of rulers fought; there was not a shield or spear seen among forty thousand in Israel.” Sep Jdg 5:8

 

“If one man sin against another, the judge [H430 elohim; gods in the ordinary sense, with the article the supreme God, ruler, judge] shall judge him: but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall intreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the LORD would slay them.” KJV 1Sa 2:25

 

“I have said, Ye are gods [H430 elohim; gods in the ordinary sense, with the article the supreme God, ruler, judge]; and all of you children of the Most High.” Sep Psa 82:6

 

“Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, I said, you are gods [G2316 theos; a deity, especially the supreme Divinity; figuratively a magistrate (judge)]’?” ESV John 10:34 

The Land of Moab

 

The book of Ruth states that Naomi and Ruth lived in the land or county of Moab; however they never stated the exact area of Moab where they lived.  It can only be assumed they were living in west Moab along the Jordan River where the ancient Israelites had camped while Moses was with them.

 

The ancient Israelite camp that Moses lead, described in Numbers chapter 2, would have required a huge territory since their were 603,550 men age 20 or older in the camp plus there were probably just as many woman of that age group, plus children, plus the Levites that were not included in the census.  Therefore the camp was probably large enough to accommodate 1,600,000 Israelites at least.

 

“And the whole numbering of the children of Israel with their host from twenty years old and upward, every one that goes out to set himself in battle array in Israel, came to six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.” Sep Num 1:45-46

 

The land of Moab was named after Lot’s son Moab (Gen 19:37).  The Moabite land must have been originally a big territory of which some was taken from them and given to the Israelites. God gave the children of Lot the land called ‘Ar’; which was sometimes called Aroer. This land that God stated the Moabites were to keep was in east Moab.

 

“And we turned and went in the direction of the wilderness of Moab. And the Lord said to me, Do not harass Moab or contend with them in battle, for I will not give you any of their land for a possession, because I have given Ar to the people of Lot for a possession.’” ESV Deu 2:8-9

 

“And we passed by our brethren the children of Esau, who dwelt in Seir, by the way of Araba from Ælon and from Gesion Gaber; and we turned and passed by the way of the desert of Moab. And the Lord said to me, Do not ye quarrel with the Moabites, and do not engage in war with them; for I will not give you of their land for an inheritance, for I have given Aroer to the children of Lot to inherit.” Sep Deu 2:8-9

 

The verse below states that the Amorites had taken some of Moab’s land and then the Israelites took this land of Moab away from the Amorites. 

 

“And Israel smote him with the slaughter of the sword, and they became possessors of his land, from Arnon to Jaboc, as far as the children of Amman, for Jazer is the borders of the children of Amman. And Israel took all their cities, and Israel dwelt in all the cities of the Amorites, in Esebon, and in all cities belonging to it.  For Esebon is the city of Seon king of the Amorites; and he before fought against the king of Moab, and they took all his land, from Aroer to Arnon.” Sep Num 21:24-26

 

The land taken away from Moab was the plains of Moab which is west Moab according to the Greek Septuagint.  The Israelites did camp out in the plains of Moab while Moses was still living during their forty years in the wilderness.

 

“And they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and pitched in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.  And they pitched by Jordan, from Bethjesimoth even unto Abelshittim in the plains of Moab. And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,” KJV Num 33:48-50

 

“And they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and encamped on the west [G1424 dusmē; the setting of the sun, hence west] of Moab, at Jordan by Jericho. And they encamped by Jordan between Æsimoth, as far as Belsa to the west [G1424 dusmē] of Moab.  And the Lord spoke to Moses at the west [G1424 dusmē] of Moab by Jordan at Jericho, saying,” Greek Septuagint Num 33:48-50

 

The plains of Moab in the west bordered ‘the promised land’; therefore God did want the Israelites to have it as part of the ‘promised land’.  The plains of Moab included land on the west side of the Jordan River.  When the Israelites acquired this land they continued to call the land “Moab’.  The plain of Moab was near Jericho on the west side of the Jordan River (see Joshua chapter 4). The west part of Moab was where God gave the Israelites more commandments and judgments.  The book of Deuteronomy appears to have all happened in the plains or west Moab.

 

“These are the commandments, and the ordinances, and the judgments, which the Lord commanded by the hand of Moses, at the west [ G1424 dusmē; the setting of the sun, hence west]of Moab, at Jordan by Jericho.” Sep Num 36:13 

 

“beyond [G4008 peran; on the other side, across, beyond] Jordan in the land of Moab, Moses began to declare this law, saying, The Lord your God spoke to us in Choreb, saying, Let it suffice you to have dwelt so long in this mountain.” Sep Deu 1:5-6

 

“These are the words of the covenant, which the Lord commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, besides the covenant which he made with them in Choreb.” Sep Deu 29:1 

 

Mount Nabua [Nebo] was located in western region of the land of Moab.  Moses died in this area.

 

“And the Lord spoke to Moses in this day, saying, Go up to the mount Abarim, this mountain Nabau [Nebo] which is in the land of Moab over against Jericho, and behold the land of Chanaan, which I give to the sons of Israel: and die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be added to thy people; as Aaron thy brother died in mount Or, and was added to his people.” Sep Deu 32:48-50

 

“So Moses the servant of the Lord died in the land of Moab by the word of the Lord. And they buried him in Gai near the house of Phogor; and no one has seen his sepulchre to this day.” Sep Deu 34:5-6

 

During the time of the Judges, Israel fought with the Moabites and blocked the fords on the Jordan River so that they could not cross over into their land on the west side of the Jordan River.  They killed 10,000 Moabites.

 

“And he said to them, Come down after me, for the Lord God has delivered our enemies, even Moab, into our hand; and they went down after him, and seized on the fords of Jordan before Moab, and he did not suffer a man to pass over. And they smote Moab on that day about ten thousand men, every lusty person and every mighty man; and not a man escaped. So Moab was humbled in that day under the hand of Israel, and the land had rest eighty years; and Aod judged them till he died.” Sep Jdg 3:28-30

 

So the ancient Israelites did have an established presence in west Moab starting from the time when Moses was alive.  This presence continued on during Ruth’s life that was right after the verse above.  The west side of the land of Moab was very close to the land of Judah; therefore the tribe of Judah may have been gradually moving into the area.  The Rubenites lived north of the land of Moab and the verse below states that Ruben’s descendants acquired land in Moab also.

 

“And Balec the son of Azuz, the son of Sama, the son of Joel: he dwelt in Aroer, and even to Naban [Nebo], and Beelmasson.” Sep 1Ch 5:8 

 

Prophecy states that the Moabites will be plundered and their land a waste:

 

“God will give rest on this mountain, and the country of Moab shall be trodden down, as they tread the floor with waggons.” Sep Isa 25:10

 

“I have heard the revilings of Moab, and the insults of the children of Ammon, wherewith they have reviled my people, and magnified themselves against my coasts. Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Moab shall be as Sodoma, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrha; and Damascus shall be left as a heap of the threshing-floor, and desolate for ever: and the remnant of my people shall plunder them, and the remnant of my nations shall inherit them.  This is their punishment in return for their haughtiness, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the Lord Almighty.” Sep Zep 2:8-10

 

There are no prophecies stating that Moab would amount to anything.  The promises were all given to Abraham and his descendants (Genesis chapter 17).  Moab is not a descendant of Abraham (see Shem’s descendants of Nahor, part 2).

 

So as you can see according to the verses above that it is not possible that Ruth is a Moabite by race since that would mean bible prophecy is wrong and the bible law was not followed.

The Original United States & the Laws of Moses

The founding fathers of America had a complete understanding of biblical laws and designed our constitution to abide with the laws of Moses.

“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice (state or characteristic of being just or fair), insure domestic Tranquility (the absence of disturbance & stress; peacefulness), provide for the common defence (action of defending, of protecting from attack, danger or injury), promote the general Welfare (Health, safety, happiness and prosperity; well-being in any respect), and secure the Blessings (divine reward) of Liberty (condition of being free from imprisonment, slavery, control, believe or express oneself as one chooses) to ourselves and our Posterity (future generations, especially the descendants of a specific person), do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

 

So the founding fathers made this constitution for their benefit and their descendants and/or people like them and to secure blessings from our Father in Heaven.  They mention no other race or group of people.  The apostle James referred to the laws of Moses as the law of liberty; therefore, the founding fathers ensured that they followed the laws of Moses to secure the blessing of liberty.

 

“But he that looketh into the perfect law, the law of liberty [G1657 eleutheria; liberty to do or to omit things having no relationship to salvation], and so continueth, being not a hearer that forgetteth but a doer that worketh, this man shall be blessed in his doing.” ASV James 1:25

Therefore when the United States was formed there were 12 states formed for Caucasians Christians to live on the East Coast of North America.

Since the creation of the United States Constitution 232 years have passed and the founding fathers hopes as stated in the preamble are no longer a reality.  This is because the Caucasian race has been dumbed down by government schools and the government they founded has been taken over by different races. We lack the knowledge of who we are as a people and the laws we must follow – The Caucasian race are the True descendants of Jacob Israel and we must gain our liberty by following the laws of Moses.

Israel was to be Holy & Separate

Our Father in Heaven separated Israel from other ethnic groups of people since only they were to be the people of the inheritance.   The English word ethnic comes from the Greek word ethnos used in the verse below and ethnic means a group of people having common racial, national, religious or cultural origins. Our Father in Heaven also states below that Israel was to be holy which means to be dedicated and ‘set apart’ for God our Father purpose.  Therefore God separated Israel from the other races or ethnicities.

“and I said to you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you for a possession, even a land flowing with milk and honey: I am the Lord your God, who have separated you from all people [G1484 εθνών (ethnos); a race, a tribe ]. And ye shall make a distinction between the clean and the unclean cattle, and between clean and unclean birds; and ye shall not defile your souls with cattle, or with birds, or with any creeping things of the earth, which I have separated for you by reason of uncleanness. And ye shall be holy [G39 hagion; holy, set apart for God] to me; because I the Lord your God am holy, who separated you from all nations [G1484 ethnos; a race, people, nation], to be mine.” Sep Lev 20:24-26

Here the Israelites are told again that they are holy meaning set apart from the other ethnicities and that they are to remove the other ethnic groups from their presence and land they inherited.  They are also told not to marry the other ethnic groups or make covenants (promises or contracts) with them:

“And when the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land, into which thou goest to possess it, and shall remove great nations [G1484 εθνών (ethnos); a race, a tribe]. from before thee, the Chettite, and Gergesite, and Amorite, and Chananite, and Pherezite, and Evite, and Jebusite, seven nations more numerous and stronger than you,  and the Lord thy God shall deliver them into thy hands, then thou shalt smite them: thou shalt utterly destroy them: thou shalt not make a covenant with them, neither shall ye pity them: neither shall ye contract marriages with them: thou shalt not give thy daughter to his son, and thou shalt not take his daughter to thy son. For he will draw away thy son from me, and he will serve other gods; and the Lord will be very angry with you, and will soon utterly destroy thee. But thus shall ye do to them; ye shall destroy their altars, and shall break down their pillars, and shall cut down their groves, and shall burn with fire the graven images of their gods. For thou art a holy [set apart] people to the Lord thy God; and the Lord thy God chose thee to be to him a peculiar people beyond all nations that are upon the face of the earth.” Sep Deu 7:1-6

Based on the verses above we know there are ethnic groups that Israel must not allow to live within their communities in order to be obedient to the Laws of Moses.  Most of the tribes mentions to be destroyed are the Chananites and some of Canaan’s sons were mentioned by name. Also to be destroyed were the Pherezites who have no genealogy mentioned in the bible; therefore they are not a descendant of Adam.  Canaan was the son of Noah’s son Ham who was cursed and Ham received no blessing from Noah (Genesis 9).   In red below are the named sons of Canaan to be destroyed:

“And Chanaan begot Sidon his first-born, and the Chettite, and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite, and the Evite, and the Arukite, and the Asennite, and the Aradian, and the Samarean, and the Amathite; and after this the tribes of the Chananites were dispersed.” Sep Gen 10:15-18

If you do a full reading of the book of Joshua you will find that the Israelites failed to destroy many of the tribes they were ordered to destroy. Therefore, these people are still living today.

Therefore Israel was to be kept holy and set apart and that is also what the founding fathers of the United States wanted for the Caucasian Christians.

Not Allowed Bastard, Mamzer, Mongrel

Depending on the translation, a bastard, mamzer or mongrel cannot be among the assembly (also called congregation or church) of people that our Father in Heaven chose to be set apart.

“One born of a harlot [G4204 πόρνης (pornē); any woman indulging in unlawful sexual intercourse); shall not enter into the assembly of the Lord.” Sep Deu 23:2 

“A mamzer, that is to say, one born of a prostitute, shall not enter into the church of the Lord, until the tenth generation.” DR Deu 23:2

“non ingredietur mamzer [bastard; child from incestuous or adulterous relationship Adultery from adultero;  adulterate, pollute, corrupt, defile. To adulterate means to make impure or corrupted.]  hoc est de scorto natus in ecclesiam [from Greek ἐκκλησῐ́ᾱ (ekklēsíā); assembly or congregation from  ἐκκαλέω (ekkaléō, 'to call forth, summon') ]Domini usque ad decimam generationem.” LV Deu 23:2

“A bastard [H4464 mamzer; a bastard, alienate; a mongrel] shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the Lord.” KJV Deu 23:2

This is why prior to the creation of the United States, the colonies passed laws against cross breading also known as race mixing. They wanted to protect their offspring from race mixing which is adultery.  Race mixing is also called mongrelization or miscegenation.  Our bibles use the word adultery instead of cross breading or race mixing.

Laws were established in the American colonies as early as 1691 against adultery.  These anti-miscegenation laws remained in place for a 300 years until completely removed in 1967 by the Supreme Court.  This is one reason why white Christian Supreme Court justices are important and today we do not have one white Christian judge in the Supreme Court. Not one Supreme Court judge is looking out for the White Christian’s future. 

Miscegenation was considered a felony and the laws prohibited the solemnization of weddings between persons of different races and prohibited the officiating of such ceremonies. Sometimes, the individuals attempting to marry would not be held guilty of miscegenation itself, but felony charges of adultery or fornication would be brought against them instead. All anti-miscegenation laws banned the marriage of whites to people that were not white.

Not Allowed Different Genes (Allogenes, Alienigena)

Ezekiel says that our Father in Heaven stated no people of different genes or race can enter the house of Israel.  The original text depending on language stated that allogenes and aleingena are not allowed.

“And thou shalt say to the provoking house, even to the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God; Let it suffice you to have committed all your iniquities, O house of Israel! that ye have brought in aliens [G241 αλλογενείς (allogenēs); derived from two words G243 (allos) meaning different or another and G1085 (genos) genes, race, stock, family, nation, kind], uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, and to profane it, when ye offered bread, flesh, and blood; and ye transgressed my covenant by all your iniquities; and ye appointed others to keep the charges in my sanctuary. Therefore thus saith the Lord God; No alien [G241 αλλογενής (allogenēs) different race], uncircumcised in heart or uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of all the children of strangers that are in the midst of the house of Israel.” Sep Eze 44:6-9  

“Thus saith the Lord God: No stranger [aleinigena, see below] uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, no stranger that is in the midst of the children of Israel.”  DR Eze 44:9

“haec dicit Dominus Deus omnis alienigena [different, foreign, alien, born in another country (different genes)] incircumcisus corde et incircumcisus carne non ingredietur sanctuarium meum omnis filius alienus qui est in medio filiorum Israhel.” LV Eze 44:9

“Thus saith the Lord God; No stranger [G1121 ben; son], uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel.” KJV Eze 44:9

Not Allowed Allotrios, Alienos, Alienigena, Nekar

In Deuteronomy it is prophesized that Israel would later follow another tribe of different gens' god. The Greek word used is Allotrios and the Latin is Alienos which both mean hostile towards Israel.  The block Hebrew used the word ‘Nekar’.

“And the Lord said to Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, and this people will arise and go a whoring after the strange [G245 αλλοτρίων (allotrios); another's, that is, not one’s own; by extension foreign, not akin, hostile] gods of the land, into which they are entering: and they will forsake me, and break my covenant, which I made with them. And I will be very angry with them in that day, and I will leave them and turn my face away from them, and they shall be devoured; and many evils and afflictions shall come upon them; and they shall say in that day, Because the Lord my God is not with me, these evils have come upon me.” Sep Deu 31:16-17

“And the Lord said to Moses: Behold thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, and this people rising up will go a fornicating after strange [alienos, see below] gods in the land, to which it goeth in to dwell: there will they forsake me, and will make void the covenant, which I have made with them.” DR Deu 31:16

“dixitque Dominus ad Mosen ecce tu dormies cum patribus tuis et populus iste consurgens fornicabitur post deos [god, diety] alienos [of another, alien, foreign, unfriendly, inimical, hostile, suspicious, unfamiliar] in terra ad quam ingredietur et habitabit in ea ibi derelinquet me et irritum faciet foedus quod pepigi cum eo” LV Deu 31:16

“And the Lord said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers [H5236 nekar; a foreigner, or (abstractly) heathendom -- alien, strange (+ -er)] of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them.” KJV Deu 31:16

In Nehemiah, after the Babylon captivity, the remnant of Judah and Benjamin separated themselves from the strangers of different genes that were hostile towards them. The same Greek word is used in the verse in Deuteronomy above.  The Latin shows different genes.

“And the children of Israel separated themselves from every stranger [G245 αλλοτρίων (allotrios); another's, that is, not one’s own; by extension foreign, not akin, hostile], and stood and confessed their sins, and the iniquities of their fathers.” Sep Neh 9:2 

“And the seed [semen] of the children of Israel separated themselves from every stranger [alienigena]: and they stood, and confessed their sins, and the iniquities of their fathers.” DR Neh 9:2 

“et separatum est semen [seed, offspring] filiorum Israhel ab omni filio alienigena [different, foreign, alien, born in another country (different genes)] et steterunt et confitebantur peccata sua et iniquitates patrum suorum” LV Neh 9:2 

“And the seed [H2233 zera; a sowing, seed, offspring] of Israel separated themselves from all strangers [H1121 ben; son???], and stood and confessed their sins, and the iniquities of their fathers.” KJV Neh 9:2  

Not Allowed Mixed Race (Epimiktos,  Alienigenam, Ereb)

Nehemiah records that Israel did separate themselves from the people of ‘mixed or mingled race’ after reading the law; therefore they did understand that they were not to have race mixed people among them and that they were to be separated from them.

“And it came to pass, when they heard the law, that they were separated, even every alien [επίμικτος (epimiktos);  mingled or mixed (person of mixed race)] in Israel.” Sep Neh 13:3  

“And it came to pass, when they had heard the law, that they separated every stranger [alienigenam] from Israel.” DR Neh 13:3

“factum est autem cum audissent legem separaverunt omnem alienigenam [different, foreign, alien, born in another country (different genes)]  ab Israhel et super hoc erat Eliasib sacerdos qui fuerat positus in gazofilacio domus Dei nostri et proximus Tobiae” LV Neh 13:3

“Now it came to pass, when they had heard the law, that they separated from Israel all the mixed multitude [H6154a ereb: mixture, mixed company from H6154 ereb; Arabia, mingled people, mixed multitude (or mongrel race), woof (woof is to weave)].” KJV Neh 13:3

Prior to the separation of Israel from the ‘mingled or mixed multitude’, Ezra recorded that the Israelites needed to separate from Canaan’s (Chananite, Jubusite, Amorite) and Lot’s (Ammonite & Moabite) descendants plus the Ethite, the Pherzite and the Moserties who have no genealogy in the bible.

“And when these things were finished, the princes drew near to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands in their abominations, even the Chananite, the Ethite, the Pherezite, the Jebusite, the Ammonite, the Moabite, and the Moserite and the Amorite. For they have taken of their daughters for themselves and their sons; and the holy seed has passed among the nations of the lands, and the hand of the rulers has been first in this transgression. And when I heard this thing, I rent my garments, and trembled, and plucked some of the hairs of my head and of my beard, and sat down mourning.” Sep Ezr 9:1-3

Allowed Proselytes, Proselutos, Peregrinus, Advenarum, Gur

This section is to address what our Father in Heaven did allow to live among Jacob Israel’s descendants.   Above we learned that mixed race and different genes were not allowed; therefore these verses do not include them since our Father in Heaven did not give us laws that are in conflict with each other.  You should notice as you review these verses that the original word used for the word stranger changes.  Depending on the language proselytes, preselutos, peregrinus, advenarum and gur are allowed to live among Jacob Israel’s descendants.

Laws of Moses regarding Proselytes and Gur

The Laws of Moses does allow Proselytes (block Hebrew word is Gur) which is a gentile who has converted to the doctrine of the Laws of Moses.  These gentiles must be circumcised. A proselyte is a circumcised gentile who is considered a guest in the land with no inherited rights. Below are a few of the laws of Moses that mention proselytes:

From Numbers:

“And if there should come to you a stranger [G4339 προσήλυτος, prosēlutos, a stranger, circumcised gentile, convert] in your land, and should keep the passover to the Lord, he shall keep it according to the law of the passover and according to its ordinance: there shall be one law for you, both for the stranger [G4339 προσηλύτω, prosēlutos], and for the native of the land.”  Sep Num 9:14 

“The sojourner [peregrine, see below] also and the stranger [advena, see below] if they be among you, shall make the phase to the Lord according to the ceremonies and justifications thereof. The same ordinance shall be with you both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.” DR Num 9:14

“peregrinus [foreign, From peregrē (“abroad”) +‎ -īnus.] quoque [each person] et advena [outsider, foreigner, stranger, alien meaning ‘I arrived’] si fuerit apud vos faciet phase Domini iuxta caerimonias et iustificationes eius praeceptum idem erit apud vos tam advenae quam indigenae” LV Num 9:14

“And if a stranger [H1616 gur; a guest with no inherited rights; by implication, a foreigner] shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the Lord; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger [H1616], and for him that was born in the land.” KJV Num 9:14

From Deuteronomy:

“And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear causes between your brethren, and judge rightly between a man and his brother, and the stranger [G4339 προσήλυτος, prosēlutos, a stranger, circumcised gentile, convert] that is with him.” Sep Deu 1:16 

“And I commanded them, saying: Hear them, and judge that which is just: whether he be one of your country, or a stranger [peregrinus].” DR Deu 1:16

“praecepique eis dicens audite illos et quod iustum est iudicate sive civis sit ille sive peregrinus [foreign, From peregrē (“abroad”) +‎ -īnus.]” LV Deu 1:16

“And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger [H1616 gur; a guest with no inherited rights; by implication, a foreigner] that is with him.” KJV Deu 1:16

Also from Deuteronomy:

“having assembled the people, the men, and the women, and the children, and the stranger [G4339 προσήλυτος, prosēlutos, a stranger, circumcised gentile, convert] that is in your cities, that they may hear, and that they may learn to fear the Lord your God; and they shall hearken to do all the words of this law.” Sep Deu 31:12  

“And the people being all assembled together, both men and women, children and strangers, [advenis, see below] that are within thy gates: that hearing they may learn, and fear the Lord your God, and keep, and fulfil all the words of this law:” DR Deu 31:12

“et in unum omni populo congregato tam viris [man] quam mulieribus [woman] parvulis [young] et advenis [outsider, foreigner, stranger, alien from advenio meaning 'I arrive'] qui sunt intra portas tuas ut audientes discant et timeant Dominum Deum vestrum et custodiant impleantque omnes sermones legis huius” LV Deu 31:12

“Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger [H1616 ger: a sojourner, properly, from gur; a guest with no inherited rights; by implication, a foreigner] that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the Lord your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:” KJV Deu 31:12

From Chronicles for a historical example:

“And David gave orders to gather all the strangers [G4339 προσηλύτων (prosēlutōn); one who has come over from a Gentile religion and converted to biblical teachings] that were in the land of Israel; and he appointed stone-hewers to hew polished stones to build the house to God.”  Sep 1Ch 22:2  

“And he commanded to gather together all the proselytes [proselyte, see below] of the land of Israel, and out of them he appointed stonecutters to hew stones and polish them, to build the house of God.” DR 1 Ch 22:2

“et praecepit ut congregarentur omnes proselyti [come from abroad, foreigner from Greek (prosḗlutos, one that has arrived at [a place], stranger, sojourner; one who has come over to biblical teaching (Christian), convert, proselyte) ] de terra Israhel et constituit ex eis latomos ad caedendos lapides et poliendos ut aedificaretur domus” Dei LV 1 Ch 22:2

“And David commanded to gather together the strangers [H1616 ger: a sojourner, properly, from gur; a guest with no inherited rights; by implication, a foreigner] that were in the land of Israel; and he set masons to hew wrought stones to build the house of God.” KJV 1 Ch 22:2

New Testament Proselytes

If you research the New Testament you will find that the apostles only went to witness and teach the Israelites and Gentiles that could be Proselytes. 

Example from Matthew:

Jesus said “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte [G4339 προσηλύτων (prosēlutōn); one who has come over from a Gentile religion and converted to biblical teachings (Christian)], and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.” KJV Mat 23:15

Jesus said “Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you go round about the sea and the land to make one proselyte [proselytum, see below]; and when he is made, you make him the child of hell twofold more than yourselves.” DR Mat 23:15

Jesus said “vae vobis scribae et Pharisaei hypocritae quia circuitis mare et aridam ut faciatis unum proselytum [come from abroad, foreigner from Greek (prosḗlutos, one that has arrived at [a place], stranger, sojourner; one who has come over to biblical teaching (Christian), convert, proselyte) ] et cum fuerit factus facitis eum filium gehennae duplo quam vosm” LV Mat 23:15

Example from Acts:

“Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews [G2453 Ἰουδαίων (ioudaiōn); Judeans (belonging to Judah) ] and religious proselytes [G4339 προσηλύτων (prosēlutōn); one who has come over from a Gentile religion and converted to biblical teachings] followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.” KJV Acts 13:43

“And when the synagogue was broken up, many of the Jews [Iudaeorum], and of the strangers [advenarum, see below] who served God, followed Paul and Barnabas: who speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.” DR Acts 13:43

“cumque dimissa esset synagoga secuti sunt multi Iudaeorum et colentium advenarum [outsider, foreigner, stranger, alien from advenio meaning 'I arrive']  Paulum et Barnaban qui loquentes suadebant eis ut permanerent in gratia Dei” LV Acts 13:43

New Testament

More verses that show the apostles only went to witness and teach the Israelites and Gentile that can be Proselytes. 

Paul’s letter to the Corinthians states that his and the Corinthians fathers (ancestor) were under the cloud and passed through the red sea; therefore they are Israelites:

“For I would not, brethren, have you ignorant, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; and were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;” 1 Cor 10:1-2

James only addresses his letter to the 12 tribes of Israel:

“James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.” James 1:1

Paul confirms in his letter to the Romans that he and the Romans are Israelites:

“I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew.” Romans 11:1-2

The New Testament reflects that the new covenant was made with only the house of Judah and house of Israel:

“For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.” Heb 8:8-9

The Acts of the Apostles shows that the Gentiles also received the gift of the Holy Spirit and were to be baptized:

“And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.” Acts 10:45-48

Who were the Gentiles?

The first Gentiles mentioned in the bible are Noah’s son Japheth; therefore they would qualify as proselytes that can be converted provided the men are circumcised and then also agree to the laws of Moses.

“The sons of Japheth, Gamer, and Magog, and Madoi, and Jovan, and Elisa, and Thobel, and Mosoch, and Thiras. And the sons of Gamer, Aschanaz, and Riphath, and Thorgama. And the sons of Jovan, Elisa, and Tharseis, Cetians, Rhodians. From these were the islands of the Gentiles divided in their land, each according to his tongue, in their tribes and in their nations.” Gen 10:2-5

Shem got the blessing; therefore Shem received the inheritance. Japheth a Gentile did not get the ‘chosen line’ inheritance; however he would be allow to live among the descendants of Shem.

“And he said, Cursed be the servant Chanaan, a slave shall he be to his brethren. And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Sem, and Chanaan shall be his bond-servant. May God make room for Japheth, and let him dwell in the habitations of Sem, and let Chanaan be his servant.” Sep Gen 9:25-27

Ultimately the descendants of Jacob Israel got the blessing inheritance and all other descendants of Shem and Japheth are to be reckoned with the Gentiles. Therefore, other Gentiles would include Ishmaelite’s, Elamites, and other descendants provided they kept their bloodlines (race) clean.

Gentile is a Latin word derived from the word gēns which means ‘clan or tribe’.  Gentile means people belonging to the same gens, family, tribe, clan or nation.  Noah’s son were all of the same gens; however it is apparent that Noah’s grandson Canaan went to live among people who were not of the same gens and mated with them producing offspring that were not of the same gens; therefore they were not considered gentiles and it was against the law for Jacob Israel’s descendants to live among them. The Canaanites had actually intermarried with the fallen angels.

1848 new - About the War with Mexican & the Caucasian Race

Below is just part of the speech that Mr. Calhoun gave to congress in 1848 about his protest against allowing Mexicans and mixed races into the United States and he says that the union never dreamt of incorporating any other races.  He makes it clear that there are different races of Indians in his speech.   He said mixed blood is ignorant and unfit for liberty!

Many of today’s Cherokees are mixed race and are not the real Cherokee Indians of the past.  There are probably many Caucasians today that do not realize that they are part Cherokee since the real Cherokee left the reservations years ago.

1851 news – ‘The Aboriginal Races of Man’

1857 news – ‘The Dred Scott Case’

In 1857 the United States Supreme Court ruled that Negros were not citizens of the United States.

1867 news – What is the Ethnological Status of the Negro?

It says that the Canaanites committed adultery and that is why our Father in Heaven wanted them destroyed. This is more proof that it used to be understood that miscegenation was considered evil.

1915 news – ‘The Bible Bastard’

This article explains the word ‘Bastard’ that is used in many versions of the bible.  The writer explains that a bastard is someone not ‘under the laws of Moses’; in other words these are people that were never obligated to follow the laws of Moses.  I will add to what this man has stated by saying that only the 12 tribes of Israel were obligated to follow the laws of Moses since they were the only people there to receive the laws of Moses.  The 12 tribes of Israel were the only people that promised to keep the laws of Moses and this is documented in the book of Deuteronomy in a couple of places.  Therefore in the Old Testament only the 12 tribes of Israel were ‘under the law’ and in the New Testament the Gentiles were included as stated in this article.  Only Israel and the Gentiles are subject to the laws of Moses.  All other people are not ‘under the law’; therefore they are not judged or chastised by the law.  Based on the original laws of the United States, the founding fathers only wanted people that were ‘under the laws of Moses’ to be citizens of this country.

United States Immigration laws

                                         

The 1790 naturalization act reflected that only immigrants of the white race could be citizens of the United States. In 1965 the immigration laws were radically changed and here is a quote of the effect of this change:

“Prior to 1965, the demographics of immigration stood as mostly Europeans; 68 percent of legal immigrants in the 1950s came from Europe and Canada. However, in the years 1971–1991, immigrants from Hispanic and Latin American countries made 47.9 percent of immigrants (with Mexico accounting for 23.7 percent) and immigrants from Asia 35.2 percent. Now non-whites can come in legally and our press and representatives act as only illegals are a problem. Ronald Regan’s solution was to make the Mexican citizens and Trumps only solution is to build a wall.  Our Father in Heaven’s solution is to not allow them at all and this should be the solution for all Christian Conservatives.

Forcing the integration of non-white races with the white race promotes race-mixing; therefore transfers white people’s children and descendants to another group or race of people. The media causes mental harm to the white race continually with their racism and race-mixing propaganda.  Deuteronomy 28 reflects the curses that the Israelites will receive if they do not follow the laws of Moses and the curse below mirrors the definition of genocide line (e) above.

Conclusion

What Changed since the United States Constitution was signed in 1787?  Did our Bible and the Laws of Moses change?  Or did Christian opinions on good and evil change?  It is true that many of today’s bible translations have been changed so they appear to allow for non-whites to be part of our congregations (the use of the words stranger, alien and so forth is all confused and does not reflect the original intent). However the original text must always be referenced when there is conflict since there can be no conflict within our Father in Heaven’s laws.  There are many bible verses that state our Father in Heaven has not changed HIS mind on anything (see this page for verses https://www.openbible.info/topics/god_is_unchanging  )

Caucasians were the majority in the United States; however our population is dropping fast since we did not continue practicing the laws of Moses.  The population of our race dropping is a fulfillment to this prophecy which is a curse:

“And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of the sky in multitude; because thou didst not hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God.” Sep Deu 28:62

Throughout history Caucasians have race mixed when they lived in a racially mixed community and this fact was well known to the framers of the United States Constitution.  Many counties that use to belong to Caucasians no longer do today like Egypt, Mexico, South Africa, India, and many parts of South America.  Europe has recently been turned over to other races so that they will become minorities in their countries also. The bible and book of Jasher reflects that Judah and Simeon did race mix and their repentance is documented in their testimonies (see Judah and Simeon). All Caucasians that have race mixed must come to repentance as Judah and Simeon did.
