The chambers and stone circles are solar aligned to Celtic equinoxes and solstices and cross quarter days. They are very similar to what is found in Europe. Why are most Americans not aware of these?

Ancient Bear & Christmas Festivals

The American Indians and the Celts Celebrated the Bear

From antiquity to the middle Ages, the Celts celebrated the end of hibernation of the bears at the beginning of February. This was around the time when the bears would leave their dens and see if the weather was mild. This festival was characterized by bear costumes or disguises. For a long time, the Catholic Church sought to stop these practices. It is thought that the Catholic Church instituted the Feast of Purification of the Virgin Mary called Candlemas on February 2^nd so that the Celts would stop celebrating the Bear festival. The celebrations of the bear and the return of light continued, with bonfires and other torchlight processions. Today on our calendar we celebrate groundhogs day on February 2^nd instead of the bears coming out of hibernation.

The Bear Hibernation Feast was on February 2^nd and was actually the end of the Great Bear constellation’s hibernation.

Moqui Indians

The Moqui Indians of Arizona have been celebrating Christmas since prior to Columbus’ arrival and they also associate the Christmas season with Jesus’ return. Full article here:

Located near Sunset Crater and the San Franscisco Mountians in Arizona is the Wupatki National Monument which may have included the tallest building to view the sunsets looking southwest (as the article above states). The masonry work is like the masonry work by the Anasazi’s of the southwest.

There is no information about the Moqui Indians in Wikipedia except about a cave in Utah. In the old newspapers I found that they did the snake dance that involved eagle feathers and holding a snake in their mouth (Tribe of Dan sign).

Phrygian Cap

The ancient Freeman or Phrygian cap is also known as the Liberty cap and it is the Roman symbol of freedom and liberty. It is shown in the heraldry below. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phrygian_cap I could not find the Phrygian cap being used anywhere overseas. All the countries below were Caucasian countries, at one time, you can tell by the heraldry in coat of arms. Santa means holy saint in Latin and he wore one. Regarding the vase below, there is a place called Grecia in Costa Rica and one in Columbia also. This Freeman cap is part of the Americas history.

American Kivas or European Ringforts

The Ancestral Puebloans (Anasazi) People and the Celtic and Gaelic people of Europe both built ringforts of stone masonry.

European Ringforts

Ringforts, ring forts or ring fortresses are circular fortified settlements that were mostly built during the Bronze age up to about the year 1000. They are found in Northern Europe, especially in Ireland. There are also many in South Wales and in Cornwall, where they are called rounds. Ringforts come in many sizes and may be made of stone or earth. Earthen ringforts would have been marked by a circular rampart (a bank and ditch), often with a stake wall.

Ancestral Pueblo and Castro Celtic Cultures

The Ancestral Pueblo culture of America and the Castro Celtic culture of Spain and Ireland built the same types of masonry fortified villages.

Ancestral Pueblo Cultures is also called Anasazi

Ancestral Pueblo cultures flourished in the region currently known as the Four Corners. The territory was covered by juniper forests which the ancient peoples learned to exploit for their own needs, since foraging among the other vegetation only sufficed for half of the year, only to fail from November to April. The Ancestral Pueblo society is one of the most complex to be found in Oasis America, and they are assumed to be the ancestors of the modern Pueblo people. The term "Anasazi" is also used to describe these cultures. It is a Navajo term meaning "enemy ancestors".

The Ancestral Pueblo culture built huge complexes to live in called ‘great houses’.

Castro Celtic Culture

A Castro is a fortified settlement, usually pre-Roman, some from late Bronze Age and Iron Age, the oldest research associated with the Celtic culture. The word Castro comes from the Latin castrum, which means "hill fort".
