American & Europe Tumulus Burial Mounds

The inhabitants of North America and Europe both built mounds.  In Europe mounds are called Tumulus.  It appears that part of our early culture included mound building. Tumulus is a Latin word meaning ‘A heap of earth’, mound, hill, knoll, hillock, a barrow, or grave.  The word for tomb in Latin is tumba which is derived from the same root word as tumulus which means ‘to swell’. The word tumulus is in the Latin Vulgate 6 times and 24 times when you include the other forms of this word (tumulum, tumulos, tumulis, tumuli). Below are example verses that contain the word tumulus or an alternative form of this word in the Latin Vulgate Bible of 382BC (older than the Masoretic text bible): 

“And he said to his brethren: Bring hither stones. And they gathering stones together, made a heap [tumulus ], and they ate upon it.” DR Gen 31:46 (see Latin)

“Thou shalt forthwith kill the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, and shalt destroy it and all things that are in it, even the cattle. And all the household goods that are there, thou shalt gather together in the midst of the streets thereof, and shalt burn them with the city itself, so as to consume all for the Lord thy God, and that it be a heap [tumulus] for ever: it shall be built no more.” DR Deu 13:15-16 (see Latin)

Intaglio Burial Mounds on the West Coast of North America

There are also over 200 burial mounds in the Colorado Desert that are called Intaglio which is an Italian word for burial mound.  The most well-known intaglios are the ones in Blythe, California which is located next to the Colorado River.  I went to visit this mound in Blythe.

Conclusion

Burial mounds are part of our lost Israelite culture and can be found in many places around the world.  Pyramids are another form of burial mounds.  European culture and ancient American culture are very similar.

The Mayans in the State of Georgia

The History Channel aired a show that presented facts that the Mayan of Yucatan moved to the state of Georgia.  In this show they stated that the Mayan became known as the Creek Indians in Georgia and the proof offered was their language similarities.  Other proof of the Mayans in Georgia was offered as follows:

·         Both cultures used the same spiral hieroglyphs

·         Both cultures had a spiral mound

·         A copper plate found in Georgia appears to be the same or a similar picture that is on the side of the pyramid in Yucatan.

·         The Mayans painted with a pigment called ‘Maya Blue’ and this pigment is found in high quantities in Georgia; however it is only available in limited quantities in Mexico.

Creek Indians in Georgia

According to Wikipedia, the Creek Indians are now called the Muscogee Indians and their oral tradition states they arrived in Georgia from the west. The Ocmulgee Mound site has evidence of 17,000 years of continuous human habitation.

1872 news – Relics of the Maya Race

1897 news – Prehistoric Man in Yucatan

In 1897 ‘The Kansas City Journal’ newspaper published an article called ‘Prehistoric Man’ which states the people of Yucatan built the pyramids there and then migrated to Egypt and built those pyramids. It also stated that the oldest civilization was in Yucatan and Central America. Another branch of the Yucatan people migrated to Louisiana which is right next to Georgia.

1922 news – Mayans & Egyptians Cultures were Similar

In 1922,’The New York Herald’ newspaper published an article about the Mayans & Egyptians.  It states that the Mayan Sphinx (pictured below) from Guatemala was moved to a museum in Philadelphia.  The article also discusses how similar the Mayans and Egyptians are to each other. 1923 Book – Irish in the Bible and the Pyramids

In 1923 a book was published called “Irish Wisdom Preserved in the Bible and Pyramids” which shows how the Irish were involved in the making of pyramids. What is really interesting is that Ireland had a similar culture to Georgia also.  Reflected below is from page 48 of this book.

An 1851 Newspaper article about the colonization of America. They knew white people built the mounds along the Mississippi back then and that America use to be called ‘Great Ireland’ at one time (the author of the book above never mentions that America is the Great Ireland). The bible book of Maccabees does reflect that the Israelites were pyramid builders:

 “Simon sent someone to get the bones of Jonathan his brother, and he buried him in Modein (or Modin), the city of his ancestors. All Israel mourned Jonathan with great expressions of grief for many days. Simon built a monument over the tomb of his father and his brothers. He made it high so that all might see it. It had polished stone at the front and back. He also set up seven pyramids, opposite each other, for his father and mother and four brothers. He devised an elaborate site for the pyramids, setting up great columns around them. On the columns, he put suits of armor for a permanent memorial. Beside the suits of armor, he carved ships so that all who sail the sea might see them. This is the tomb that he built in Modein, which remains to this day.” 1 Maccabees 13:25-30

The State of Georgia and Ireland

The state of Georgia and Ireland does have a similar past culture as shown on the petroglyphs below.

Georgia and Ireland both built earth lodges; Ireland later used their earth lodges for burial tombs.  Earth lodges are like churches.

 The Picts of Scotland

The Pict people of Scotland were known for painting their bodies.  This body painting was for decoration and some say that they did this to keep bug bites like mosquitoes to a minimum.  So the Picts were like the Mayan in regards to body painting.  I mention this since it is a more plausible use for the Maya Blue pigment than what was offered in that video, especially since the newspaper above stated that the Mayans were against human sacrifice.  If the whole town continually wore the blue paint and bathed in that pool; there would be lots of blue clay paint in the bottom of that pool of water.  The Picts also created spiral petroglyphs like the ones in Georgia and Ireland.

The Pictish stone below has a snake or serpent and spirals like the Mayans put in their art work.  This Serpent stone also has cup marks that are also called cupules; spirals and cupules are also on the stone in Georgia. 

So now there is a Mayan, state of Georgia, Ireland, Scotland and Egypt connections.

Celts & Cairns in Eastern Township of Quebec

In the youtube video below Alex shows ancient cairns that date back to 1500 to 1800 years before present in the Eastern Township of Quebec.  There are many Cairns in America, Europe and many other places in the world https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cairn .  These Cairns in the Eastern Township have a quartz rock on top.

Alex also shows ancient ogham writing that was found in the area and there is talk about the Irish book called the book of Ballymore.  The ogham writing does provide proof of Celts living in the area.

Old Stone Fort Solar Aligned Mounds

I visited the Old Stone Fort in Tennessee that possibly dates back to the time that Jesus Christ lived.  The Old Stone Fort was a place set-apart for religious ceremonies; therefore it was considered holy.  Holy is defined as ‘being set apart’ and dedicated to for a religious purpose.

The entrance to the ceremonial grounds is aligned to the summer solstice and only the descendants of Enoch, Noah’s grandfather, would have the knowledge solar alignments.  The book of Jubilees tells us that the first day of each season was to be celebrated; therefore tracking of the equinoxes and solstices was important.

Reflected below are the pictures I took during my visit to the Old Stone Fort during the Feast of Tabernacles in 2018.  I took pictures of what I saw as I walked the grounds and I also took pictures inside the museum that is located next to the entrance of the ceremonial grounds.

As stated above the book of Jubilees tells us that the first day of each season was to be celebrated.  It was part of our Father in Heaven’s covenant with Noah that the seasons would not change.

“All the days of the earth, seed and harvest, cold and heat, summer and spring, shall not cease by day or night.” Sep Gen 8:22

Ancient sites for ceremonies were normally held at places that had rivers because according to biblical law the Levites and the Priests performing the sacrifices were required to be fully cleansed:

“Take the Levites out of the midst of the children of Israel, and thou shalt purify them. And thus shalt thou perform their purification: thou shalt sprinkle them with water of purification, and a razor shall come upon the whole of their body, and they shall wash their garments, and shall be clean. And they shall take one calf of the herd, and its meat-offering, fine flour mingled with oil: and thou shalt take a calf of a year old of the herd for a sin-offering. And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tabernacle of witness; and thou shalt assemble all the congregation of the sons of Israel. And thou shalt bring the Levites before the Lord; and the sons of Israel shall lay their hands upon the Levites. And Aaron shall separate the Levites for a gift before the Lord from the children of Israel: and they shall be prepared to perform the works of the Lord. And the Levites shall lay their hands on the heads of the calves; and thou shalt offer one for a sin-offering, and the other for a whole-burnt-offering to the Lord, to make atonement for them.” Sep Num 8:6-12

Recorded in Chronicles, at this Passover a number of the Israelites had not purified themselves prior to the feast and Ezekiel prayed for them since this was against the laws of Moses.

“And they stood at their post, according to their ordinance, according to the commandment of Moses the man of God: and the priests received the blood from the hand of the Levites. For a great part of the congregation was not sanctified; and the Levites were ready to kill the passover for every one who could not sanctify himself to the Lord. For the greatest part of the people of Ephraim, and Manasse, and Issachar, and Zabulon, had not purified themselves, but ate the passover contrary to the scripture. On this account also Ezekias prayed concerning them, saying, The good Lord be merciful with regard to every heart that sincerely seeks the Lord God of their fathers, and is not purified according to the purification of the sanctuary.” Sep 2 Ch 30:16-19

At the first Passover after they had been in captivity in Babylon they kept the Passover and that the priests and Levites were all purified.

“And the children of the captivity kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month. For the priests and Levites were purified, all were clean to a man, and they slew the passover for all the children of the captivity, and for their brethren the priests, and for themselves. And the children of Israel ate the passover, even they that were of the captivity, and every one who separated himself to them from the uncleanness of the nations of the land, to seek the Lord God of Israel.” Ezr 6:19-21

The law for cleaning lepers required running water:

“And the priest shall give direction, and they shall kill one bird over an earthen vessel over running water.” Sep Lev 14:5 

The test for adultery also required running water:

“And the priest shall take pure running water in an earthen vessel, and he shall take of the dust that is on the floor of the tabernacle of witness, and the priest having taken it shall cast it into the water.” Sep Num 5:17

Conclusion

I very much enjoyed seeing the Old Stone Fort.  I enjoyed seeing all the diagrams and how well maintained this site is. 

Europeans have been noticing the similarities of the ancient people that lived in America and the Israelites for at least a couple of hundred years now.  Dr. Boudinot wrote a book about the Indians and the feast days in 1816.  It is called ‘Star in the West’ and it can be downloaded here.  An 1838 newspaper article was written about this and it is shown in column 2:  here

Each time I go to one of these ancient sites I notice many white people there that are interested in the history of these places.  It is rare to see dark skinned people at one of these ancient sites.  One white lady I met the previous year told me she was interested in learning more about her ancestors and that is why she was at that ancient site. I believe many know or suspect these are ancient white people sites.
