Ephraim a Multitude of Nations

Overview

The tribe of Joseph received the double blessing from Jacob Israel; therefore inherited a double portion of land.  His inheritance was America and his signs are all over America.  Joseph’s son Ephraim inherited the blessing of becoming a multitude of nations.

Jacob Israel’s Blessing to Joseph’s Sons

“And Joseph brought them out from between his knees, and they did reverence to him, with their face to the ground. And Joseph took his two sons, both Ephraim in his right hand, but on the left of Israel, and Manasse on his left hand, but on the right of Israel, and brought them near to him. But Israel having stretched out his right hand, laid it on the head of Ephraim, and he was the younger; and his left hand on the head of Manasse, guiding his hands crosswise. And he blessed them and said, The God in whose sight my fathers were well pleasing, even Abraam and Isaac, the God who continues to feed me from my youth until this day; the angel who delivers me from all evils, bless these boys, and my name shall be called upon them, and the name of my fathers, Abraam and Isaac; and let them be increased to a great multitude on the earth.   And Joseph having seen that his father put his right hand on the head of Ephraim--it seemed grievous to him; and Joseph took hold of the hand of his father, to remove it from the head of Ephraim to the head of Manasse. And Joseph said to his father, Not so, father; for this is the first-born; lay thy right-hand upon his head. And he would not, but said, I know it, son, I know it; he also shall be a people, and he shall be exalted, but his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations. And he blessed them in that day, saying, In you shall Israel be blessed, saying, God make thee as Ephraim and Manasse; and he set Ephraim before Manasse. And Israel said to Joseph, Behold, I die; and God shall be with you, and restore you to the land of your fathers. Gen 48:12-21

Joseph leaned on his staff as he gave blessings to Ephraim and Manassah:

“By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.” ASV Hebrews 11:21

Jacob Israel’s Blessing to Joseph

Assemble yourselves, that I may tell you what shall happen to you in the last days. Gather yourselves together, and hear me, sons of Jacob; hear Israel, hear your father.” Gen 49:2

Joseph is a son increased; my dearly loved son is increased; my youngest son, turn to me. Against whom men taking evil counsel reproached him, and the archers pressed hard upon him. But their bow and arrows were mightily consumed, and the sinews of their arms were slackened by the hand of the mighty one of Jacob; thence is he that strengthened Israel from the God of thy father; and my God helped thee, and he blessed thee with the blessing of heaven from above, and the blessing of the earth possessing all things, because of the blessing of the breasts and of the womb, the blessings of thy father and thy mother--it has prevailed above the blessing of the lasting mountains, and beyond the blessings of the everlasting hills; they shall be upon the head of Joseph, and upon the head of the brothers of whom he took the lead.” Septuagint Genesis 49:22-26

Moses’ Blessing for Joseph

And this is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.” Sep Deu 33:1

And to Joseph he said, His land is of the blessing of the Lord, of the seasons of sky and dew, and of the deeps of wells below, and of the fruits of the changes of the sun in season, and of the produce of the months, from the top of the ancient mountains, and from the top of the everlasting hills, and of the fullness of the land in season: and let the things pleasing to him that dwelt in the bush come on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of him who was glorified above his brethren. His beauty is as the firstling of his bull, his horns are the horns of a unicorn; with them he shall thrust the nations at once, even from the end of the earth: these are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and these are the thousands of Manasse. Septuagint 33:13-17

Ephraim was to be a multitude of nations on land that has ancient mountains. The Top 10 Ancient Mountains are North America, South America, South Africa, and Australia; the only one of these that is now a multitude of nations is America.

Joseph’s Heraldry

Joseph received symbols that represented his inherited heraldry based on his blessings from his father Jacob Israel and from Moses.  These symbols were divided between Manasseh and Ephraim.  Joseph did get the double blessing; therefore his inheritance was to be very large.

Joseph was Governor of Egypt

The story of Joseph becoming governor over the land of Egypt is summarized below in the New Testament.  Jacob’s sons Ephraim and Manassah were born and raised in Egypt; therefore they would have learned the Egyptian culture and writing systems.
“And he gave him the covenant of circumcision, and so he begot Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac begot Jacob; and Jacob the twelve patriarchs. And the patriarchs, through envy, sold Joseph into Egypt; and God was with him, And delivered him out of all his tribulations: and he gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharao, the king of Egypt; and he appointed him governor over Egypt, and over all his house. Now there came a famine upon all Egypt and Chanaan, and great tribulation; and our fathers found no food. But when Jacob had heard that there was corn in Egypt, he sent our fathers first: And at the second time, Joseph was known by his brethren, and his kindred was made known to Pharao. And Joseph sending, called thither Jacob, his father, and all his kindred, seventy-five souls. So Jacob went down into Egypt; and he died, and our fathers.”  DR Acts 7:8-15

Joseph & Ephraim in Prophecy

As shown in the prophecies below Joseph’s descendants from his son Ephraim were removed from the Promised Land given to them in the book of Joshua due to their misbehavior.  Ephraim went to live in Egypt and Assyria by the Euphrates river.

The Prophet Jeremiah

Jeremiah’s prophecies were written just before the fall of the first temple in Jerusalem in 586BC.  The seed of Ephraim and the northern 10 tribes were cast away from the Promised Land.   Then later Jeremiah states that the Israelites will acquire their Promised Land again including Mount Sion (Zion).

For go ye to my place with is in Selo, where I caused my name to dwell before, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of my people Israel. And now, because ye have done all these deeds, and I spoke to you, but ye hearkened not to me; and I called you, but ye answered not; therefore I also will do to the house whereon my name is called, wherein ye trust, and to the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Selo. And I will cast you out of my sight, as I cast away your brethren, all the seed of Ephraim. Therefore pray not thou for this people, and intercede not for them to be pitied, yea, pray not, and approach me not for them: for I will not hearken unto thee.” Sep Jer 7:12-15

Israel is a wandering sheep; the lions have driven him out: the king of Assyria first devoured him, and afterward this king of Babylon has gnawed his bones. Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will take vengeance on the king of Babylon, and upon his land, as I took vengeance on the king of Assyria. And I will restore Israel to his pasture, and he shall feed on Carmel and on mount Ephraim and in Galaad, and his soul shall be satisfied.” Sep Jer 27:17-19

They went forth with weeping, and I will bring them back with consolation, causing them to lodge by the channels of waters in a straight way, and they shall not err in it: for I am become a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my first-born. Hear the words of the Lord, ye nations, and proclaim them to the islands afar off; say, He that scattered Israel will also gather him, and keep him as one that feeds his flock. For the Lord has ransomed Jacob, he has rescued him out of the hand of them that were stronger than he. And they shall come, and shall rejoice in the mount of Sion [Zion, an ancient mountain], and shall come to the good things of the Lord, even to a land of corn, and wine, and fruits, and cattle, and sheep: and their soul shall be as a fruitful tree; and they shall hunger no more.” Sep Jer 38:9-12

I have heard the sound of Ephraim lamenting, and saying, Thou hast chastened me, and I was chastened; I as a calf was not willingly taught: turn thou me, and I shall turn; for thou art the Lord my God. For after my captivity I repented; and after I knew, I groaned for the day of shame, and shewed thee that I bore reproach from my youth. Ephraim is a beloved son, a pleasing child to me: for because my words are in him, I will surely remember him: therefore I made haste to help him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the Lord.” Sep Jer 38:18-20

Joseph’s children, Ephraim and Manassah, listed as being carried off to Babylon for their transgressions with Judah and Benjamin’s descendants.

“And this is all Israel, even their enrolment: and these are written down in the book of the kings of Israel and Juda, with the names of them that were carried away to Babylon for their transgressions. And they that dwelt before in their possessions in the cities of Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the appointed ones. And there dwelt in Jerusalem some of the children of Juda, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasse.” 1Ch 9:1-3

Babylon was located close to Egypt by the river Euphrates:
And the king of Egypt came not again any more out of his own country: for the king of Babylon had taken all that had belonged to the king of Egypt, from the river of Egypt, unto the river Euphrates.” DR 2 Kings 24:7

The Prophet Hosea

Ephraim’s misbehavior and punishment is documented throughout the book of Hosea.  The prophet Hosea says that Ephraim will return to Egypt, Assyria and Memphis.  Hosea also states that Ephraim will be return to their Promised Land.

Israel is swallowed up: now is he become among the nations as a worthless vessel.  For they have gone up to the Assyrians: Ephraim has been strengthened against himself; they loved gifts. Therefore shall they be delivered to the nations: now I will receive them, and they shall cease a little to anoint a king and princes. Because Ephraim has multiplied altars, his beloved altars are become sins to him. I will write down a multitude of commands for him; but his statutes are accounted strange things, even the beloved altars. For if they should offer a sacrifice, and eat flesh, the lord will not accept them: now will he remember their iniquities, and will take vengeance on their sins: they have returned to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean things among the Assyrians. And Israel has forgotten him that made him, and they have built fanes, and Juda has multiplied walled cities: but I will send fire on his cities, and it shall devour their foundations.” Sep Hos 8:8-14

They dwelt not in the Lord's land: Ephraim dwelt in Egypt, and they shall eat unclean things among the Assyrians. They have not offered wine to the Lord, neither have their sacrifices been sweet to him, but as the bread of mourning to them; all that eat them shall be defiled; for their bread for their soul shall not enter into the house of the Lord. What will ye do in the day of the general assembly, and in the day of the feast of the Lord? Therefore, behold, they go forth from the trouble of Egypt, and Memphis shall receive them, and Machmas shall bury them: as for their silver, destruction shall inherit it; thorns shall be in their tents.” Sep Hos 9:3-9

Ephraim dwelt in Egypt; and as for the Assyrian, he was his king, because he would not return. And in his cities he prevailed not with the sword, and he ceased to war with his hands: and they shall eat of the fruit of their own devices: and his people shall cleave fondly to their habitation; but God shall be angry with his precious things, and shall not at all exalt him. How shall I deal with thee, Ephraim? how shall I protect thee, Israel? what shall I do with thee? I will make thee as Adama, and as Seboim; my heart is turned at once, my repentance is powerfully excited. I will not act according to the fury of my wrath, I will not abandon Ephraim to be utterly destroyed: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One within thee: and I will not enter into the city. I will go after the Lord: he shall utter his voice as a lion: for he shall roar, and the children of the waters shall be amazed. They shall be amazed and fly as a bird out of Egypt, and as a dove out of the land of the Assyrians: and I will restore them to their houses, saith the Lord. Ephraim has compassed me with falsehood, and the house of Israel and Juda with ungodliness: but now God knows them, and they shall be called God's holy people.” Sep Hos 11:5-12

“I will be as dew to Israel: he shall bloom as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Libanus. His branches shall spread, and he shall be as a fruitful olive, and his smell shall be as the smell of Libanus. They shall return, and dwell under his shadow: they shall live and be satisfied with corn, and he shall flower as a vine: his memorial shall be to Ephraim as the wine of Libanus. What has he to do any more with idols? I have afflicted him, and I will strengthen him: I am as a leafy juniper tree. From me is thy fruit found.” Sep Hos 14:6-9

Therefore, Ephraim would be dwelling in Egypt and Assyria by the Tigris River which flows into the Euphrates River.  They are both close to each other and by where Ishmael went to live.

And the third river is Tigris, this is that which flows forth over against the Assyrians. And the fourth river is Euphrates.” Sep Gen 2:14

And these are the years of the life of Ismael, a hundred and thirty-seven years; and he failed and died, and was added to his fathers.  And he dwelt from Evilat to Sur, which is opposite Egypt, until one comes to the Assyrians; he dwelt in the presence of all his brethren.” Gen 25:18

The Prophecy of Zachariah

The prophet Zachariah states that the house of Joseph, Ephraim and Manassah, will be removed from Egypt and Assyria and be brought to the Promised Land where Galaad [Gilead] and Libanus (Lebanon) are located.

And I will strengthen the house of Juda, and save the house of Joseph, and I will settle them; because I have loved them: and they shall be as if I had not cast them off: for I am the Lord their God, and I will hear them. And they shall be as the warriors of Ephraim, and their heart shall rejoice as with wine: and their children also shall see it, and be glad; and their heart shall rejoice in the Lord. I will make a sign to them, and gather them in; for I will redeem them, and they shall be multiplied according to their number before. And I will sow them among the people; and they that are afar off shall remember me: they shall nourish their children, and they shall return. And I will bring them again from the land of Egypt, and I will gather them in from among the Assyrians; and I will bring them into the land of Galaad and to Libanus; and there shall not even one of them be left behind. And they shall pass through a narrow sea, they shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deep places of the rivers shall be dried up: and all the pride of the Assyrians shall be taken away, and the sceptre of Egypt shall be removed.” Sep Zec 10:6-11

Galaad is one of the places that Moses seen while on Mount Nebo when he went to see all the land the Israelites were given in the book of Joshua.

And Moses went up from Araboth Moab to the mount of Nabau [Nebo], to the top of Phasga, which is before Jericho; and the Lord shewed him all the mount of Galaad to Dan, and all the land of Naphtali, and all the land of Ephraim and Manasse, and all the land of Juda to the farthest sea; and the wilderness, and the country round about Jericho, the city of palm-trees, to Segor. And the Lord said to Moses, This is the land of which I sware to Abraam, and Isaac, and Jacob, saying, To your seed will I give it: and I have shewed it to thine eyes, but thou shalt not go in thither. So Moses the servant of the Lord died in the land of Moab by the word of the Lord. And they buried him in Gai near the house of Phogor; and no one has seen his sepulchre to this day.” Sep Deu 34:1-6

Libanus (Lebanon) was one of the borders given in the Israelites’ land description in Joshua:

From the desert and from Libanus unto the great river Euphrates, all the land of the Hethites unto the great sea toward the going; down of the sun, shall be your border.” DR Joshua 1:4

The Prophecy of Ezekiel

The house of Israel is represented by two olive branches in scripture.  The house of Israel became 13 tribes when Joseph received the double portion blessing inheritance (Deu 21:15).   Ruben, Simeon, and Levi were disqualified from receiving the double portion due to behavior issues. Judah received the royal scepter linage and Joseph received the double blessing of the first born.

More about the Germanic tribes here.

Our Father in Heaven promised to make the House of Juda and the House of Israel one nation and bring them back to their own land.  America is where this verse is being fulfilled.

And the word of the Lord came to me, saying: And thou son of man, take thee a stick: and write upon it: Of Juda, and of the children of Israel his associates: and take another stick and write upon it: For Joseph the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel, and of his associates. And join them one to the other into one stick, and they shall become one in thy hand. And when the children of thy people shall speak to thee, saying: Wilt thou not tell us what thou meanest by this? Say to them: Thus saith the Lord God: Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel that are associated with him, and I will put them together with the stick of Juda, and will make them one stick: and they shall be one in his hand. And the sticks whereon thou hast written, shall be in thy hand, before their eyes. And thou shalt say to them: Thus saith the Lord God: Behold, I will take the children of Israel from the midst of the nations whither they are gone: and I will gather them on every side, and will bring them to their own land.” Eze 37:15-22

More verses about the olive branches:

For if the firstfruit be holy, so is the lump also: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches be broken, and thou, being a wild olive, art ingrafted in them, and art made partaker of the root, and of the fatness of the olive tree, Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. Thou wilt say then: The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in. Well: because of unbelief they were broken off. But thou standest by faith: be not highminded, but fear. For if God hath not spared the natural branches, fear lest perhaps he also spare not thee.”  Rom 11:16-21
For it shall be thus in the midst of the earth, in the midst of the people, as if a few olives, that remain, should be shaken out of the olive tree: or grapes, when the vintage is ended.” Isa 24:13

And I answered, and said to him: What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick, and upon the left side thereof? And I answered again, and said to him: What are the two olive branches, that are by the two golden beaks, in which are the funnels of gold? And he spoke to me, saying: Knowest thou not what these are? And I said: No, my lord. And he said: These are two sons of oil who stand before the Lord of the whole earth.” Zec 4:11-14

These are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks, standing before the Lord of the earth. And if any man desireth to hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth and devoureth their enemies; and if any man shall desire to hurt them, in this manner must he be killed.” ASV Rev 11:4-5

The Prophecy of Isaiah

The prophet Isaiah prophesies that there will be a second parting of the Red Sea so that the remnant in Egypt will be able to pass through the sea again.

And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall arise to rule over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust, and his rest shall be glorious. And it shall be in that day, that the Lord shall again shew his hand, to be zealous for the remnant that is left of the people, which shall be left by the Assyrians, and that from Egypt, and from the country of Babylon, and from Ethiopia, and from the Elamites, and from the rising of the sun, and out of Arabia. And he shall lift up a standard for the nations, and he shall gather the lost ones of Israel, and he shall gather the dispersed of Juda from the four corners of the earth. And the envy of Ephraim shall be taken away, and the enemies of Juda shall perish: Ephraim shall not envy Juda, and Juda shall not afflict Ephraim. And they shall fly in the ships of the Philistines: they shall at the same time spoil the sea, and them that come from the east, and Idumea: and they shall lay their hands on Moab first; but the children of Ammon shall first obey them. And the Lord shall make desolate the sea of Egypt; and he shall lay his hand on the river with a strong wind, and he shall smite the seven channels, so that men shall pass through it dry-shod. And there shall be a passage for my people that is left in Egypt: and it shall be to Israel as the day when he came forth out of the land of Egypt.” Sep Isa 11:10-16

Isaiah states there will be a city in Egypt called the ‘city of the sun’ and there will also be a monument at the border.  There will also be a way to travel back and forth over the river between Assyria and Egypt. This is further proof that these cities are next to each other.

In that day there shall be five cities in the land of Egypt, speaking the language of Chanaan, and swearing by the Lord of hosts: one shall be called the city of the sun. In that day there shall be an altar of the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a monument of the Lord at the borders thereof: It shall be for a sign, and for a testimony to the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt. For they shall cry to the Lord because of the oppressor, and he shall send them a Saviour and a defender to deliver them. And the Lord shall be known by Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the Lord in that day, and shall worship him with sacrifices and offerings: and they shall make vows to the Lord, and per- form them. And the Lord shall strike Egypt with a scourge, and shall heal it, and they shall return to the Lord, and he shall be pacified towards them, and heal them. In that day there shall be a way from Egypt to the Assyrians, and the Assyrian shall enter into Egypt, and the Egyptian to the Assyrians, and the Egyptians shall serve the Assyrian. In that day shall Israel be the third to the Egyptian and the Assyrian: a blessing in the midst of the land, Which the Lord of hosts hath blessed, saying: Blessed be my people of Egypt, and the work of my hands to the Assyrian: but Israel is my inheritance.” DR Isa 19:18-25

Ephraim & Egypt

Joseph received the double blessing of the land inheritance.  The blessing given to Ephraim was to become multitude of nations with ancient mountains.  America is where this prophecy and Ezekiel’s two stick prophecy is being fulfilled.  Southern Illinois is known as ‘little Egypt’.  Joseph’s descendants did live twice in Egypt; therefore they lived among the Egyptian culture and would have known Egyptian writing.  Southern Illinois is called ‘little Egypt’ and there are several pyramids by Cairo, Illinois.

Ancient Cairo and Memphis on the Nile in current day Egypt happen to be in the same places on the Mississippi.   According to Genesis, Egypt was on the other side of the Euphrates from Assyria.

There evidence of Alexander the Great’s tomb has been found at Burrows Cave in Illinois.  Below is one of the artifacts taken from this cave along with part of the description of it.  It says that Alexander Ptolmey III died in Arizona.  According to Josephus the Ptolmey king line took Jerusalem in 312 BC (Antiquities 12.1.1 & 1 Mac 10:51).

The above from this article, see more artifacts here:  https://sites.google.com/site/ancientegyptiansinamerica/ancient-egyptians-burrows-cave

Did the founding fathers of America know about this?  Our Great Seal of America shows they did.

Egypt at the Grand Canyon
The video below documents evidence of Egyptians in the Grand Canyon of Arizona.  She talks of Joseph’s descendants being at the Grand Canyon.   She mentions Aztlan which Aslan means Lion; so this similar to lion being for the tribe of Judah.  Aztlan though maybe a reference to ancient place in Michigan. She says the 2nd land of Egypt is Memphis which is in Tennessee maybe.  Pictured below is one of the artifacts she shows in the video.
